In every way imaginable, arts change lives for the better

Some basic facts

Students who participate in the arts, both in and out of school, have higher academic performance and lower dropout rates.

Low-income students who are highly engaged in the arts are more than twice as likely than their peers with no arts engagement to obtain gainful employment, complete college, and volunteer in their community.

72% of business leaders say that creativity is the number one skill they are seeking when hiring. (And 85% of that group say they have difficulty finding the creative applicants they seek.)
